Édition Zvei.
The Original Cap.
A happy accident.
The journey commences when I quit my old job due to discords with my former boss. Out of impulse, I quit, and was living off my healthy savings. They were healthy only if I did not get into deep financial trouble.
Oh, but I did!
My 2014 Nissan Versa Note had a pair of rusty springs that snapped when hitting a pothole. $2500 was the bill. My bank account? As empty as North Korea's supermarkets.
I looked for jobs endlessly, in which I found work at Aramark at the Canadian Tire Centre, where I am now a Stand Lead (supervisor for a food stand), but after the hockey season, cash flow is inexistent. So I decided to make a business.
It wasn't my first rodeo, nor venture. So, how hard could it be?
Well, it turns out, people don't want to pay $40 for a hat, but they are more willing when the price is $33 CAD ($25 USD).
Interesting, I thought.
I dropped my prices because I had finally paid off that darn suspension, and profits were not really a priority for me. Édition Eins was discontinued by my supplier for no apparent reason, it was a great product, with a metal buckle, cotton twill body, lightweight, soft, a great overall product. But as I said, a happy accident; a new model came in, which I think might appeal to the masses a bit more, with a cotton construction, hard front, and spandex FlexFit band to secure the cap with fewer moving parts or straps.
So here we are with the caps. Check them out, and if you have any questions, go to the Queries section and shoot me a message!
